Rabbit rabbit! :(

My cars had a run in with a rabbit. Unfortunately the bumper and both rads have taken a bit of a pasting.

The bumper is split so I'm going to keep my eyes open for a facelift item. The rads arn't leaking though so thats something.

He did some damage,

I had something similar when I was driving to Edinburgh very early one morning down a deserted stretch of B road. Saw the carrot eater hop into the road and start running down my side. I moved to the other side of the road to avoid him and he decided to do the same. Caught him right in the middle of my bumper doing about 55mph. Not a mark on the car thankfully, but I don’t think the same could be said for the rabbit.

I was also dive bombed by two barn owls on the same stretch of road that morning, but that was pretty impressive. Car must have been an animal magnet!!!

Probably easy to repair that mate and not really expensive. Obviously Im talking about the bumper and not the rad.

cant repair plastic unless you have the correct tool as a cracked bumper just with filler on it will flex and crack so new bumper matey if you want a proper job, the rad will obviously need replacing for a nice shiny new 1 need a new grill. damn wildlife!!!!!!!!!

Thats right it would be easier to fix, but I quite fancy the new FR front bumper.

wouldnt be easier to fix as the plastic would flex and crack the paint all the time go fr or cupra bumper with LCR splitter

That must have been one hell of a big rabbit to split the bumper and dent the radiator. It was probably on steroids. I hit a pheasant the other day, tried desperately to avoid it, luckily not a bit of damage at all but it took me a couple of hours to pick all the feathers out of the radiator.

I hit a brick tonight

Wasnt pleased at all, fell off a truck and think its destroyed plastic's under the car.

I stopped to make sure i didnt pierce the sump.. Then bombed it down to see if i could see the truck, I never got the company's name i was over taking some old granny.

Its got a old FR bumper on it. I am definately going for a face lift FR front bumper. The LCR splitter would be a nice touch.

I think the rabbit saw the lights (literally) and fancied his chances. lol.

Does anyone know where to get a new FR bumper from cheap? Do club members get any dealer discount??
