For some time i'm having issues with the radiator fan, as the topic states, it never stops even after the engine is off and the keys are removed from the ignition.
I have looked at several topics around here but never got to a conclusion on what the problem might be.

Currently the only way to shut down the fans is to restart the engine, and then turn it off again while the AC is off.

anyone has any idea on what might cause such a problem ?

On most cars the cooling fan works on a thermal switch. If the car is very hot and the engine turned off then the fan runs on for a while after till the switch cools and closes. This should only be for a few mins tops though. If its running after say 10 mins then the switch is most likely failing to cut off.

I ve not had this on the Ibiza tbh but I would imagine its the same.

Hopefully someone will come along with Ibiza knowledge on this. ;)

I'm having the exact same problem on my seat ibiza cupra. I've come to start the car quite a few times and the battery has been flat because of the fan just running on.

The only way I can get it to stop is by restarting the engine. Also on a possibly related note.. Does your climate control flash when you start the car? Mine started doing this at basically the same time as the problem with the fan started. It flashes about 15-20 times and then works like normal.

The flashing means that your air con system needs recharging.
