Radiator switch location?

Hi there,
My radiator has stopped coming on, I realised this when I was parked on idle and the temp continued past the middle marker. As soon as I drove off, temp went back to normal. So I'm guessing the rad switch needs replacing.

Where is it located please and what price for the part?

What are you on about radiator switch?

Do you mean fan switch? Temp sensor switch? Thermostat housing/radiator. Look at the cooling system

Obviously I'm a noob at these sensory parts lol!

Well I guess it could be either of those

Fans could be dead, fuse on top of the battery could be dead, switch is screwed into the radiator iirc.

What milage is your car at?

Mileage is at 85k,

Take it your timing and water pump were done around 50k?

I've owned it since 74k, Seat have service history on their computer around that period which I could check, I need to get the book stamped by them too.

Cambelt has just been changed,

Sensors are quite a common fault tbh, however when my car started this it was the water pump a 58k

Did the fans intermittently work, then cease working altogether?

If its intermittent check the two sensors i've mentioned, they arent hugely expensive.
