Radio get louder at speed

I may be losing it but I am sure my standard radio gets louder as you go faster and then seems to get quiter when speed drops. Any ideas. Its quite good actually.

yea you can turn that off mine does it and is a bit anoying when ive got it loud then it seems to drop down

The leon radio does the same, but i find it pretty worthless. The car isn't loud enough to need it.

this is really annoying as my standard speakers are pushed at times and then when i speed up it pushes it way past the limit gaz how do you turn the damn thing off then? diagnostics kit?

Same. i think its a 70 it gets too loud and starts distorting if you have it cranked right up in the first place. think mine goes up at 30mph, 50mph and then 70mph

that's one of the first mods I did on my bizza
It also used to drive me mad on my astra company car too until I worked out how to turn them both off

the same reason as rash really I have it loud and then at speed it goes OTT



it's well easy to turn off just scroll through the radio menu

will do fella i dont always have music on loud but when a good song comes on and i crank it up to the maximum 1 db! then speed up it nearly hits 2 db! and destorts the quality speakers

I would not know as 70 is the legal speed limit and is obviously never broken!

You can also change the setting to not compensate for the speed so much.

Therefore it only goes up a little.
