Raid Induction Kits onto Cupra

Just a quick one does anyone have an experience of Riad Induction kits, as I have seen them on ebay at around £50, I was just seeing if anyone has used tham in the past, is running one now, ofr suggests that it isnt the best to run on a turbo'd motor.
I think they are oil imprgnated foam, and have heard that this isnt the best option to go for.

I have the RAID Maxlow CAI on my car and I think its the same as the RAMAIR one they may be sister companies but I dont know.

It runs quite good, Gives a good growl, have had it on my car for a couple of months although my Diagnostic light has came on recently and i'm having to remove it in case its the MAF that is broken.

I think the one your looking at is the one thats just the cone filter, these I believe actually can reduce the performance of the car due to sucking in hot air.

So you probably would be better looking at some sort of CAI filter.

RAMAIR & RAID Charge around 130 mark for theirs but i'm sure there are better ones on the market, but more expensive.

Ive got the Ram Air fitted, with additional mounting bracket, and ive knackered two MAFS,

my Diagnostic light has came on recently and i'm having to remove it in case its the MAF that is broken.

Nothing to do with the air filter, SEAT said it was loose connections. I blame those bluddy speed bumps lol.

MAF's do not like vibration, CAI's like those above increase the vribration on the MAF and the MAF then expires early, some CAI's are worse than others my RAM AIR ate 1 MAF on my old car (partly my fault though).....
