Basically, is this a nightmare or is it simple?

I have the hook type spanner thing that I got with my KW's - AwesomeGTI set the height up when they fitted them but recently more and more high speed bumps seem to be appearing near my house.

Any tips / pictures would be a massive help, unless it is a complete nightmare in which case I will book it in for raising.

People around the Warrington area are quite welcome to come help me for beer tokens ;-) :funk:

You can do it mate its not hard at all. At the bottom of the spring on your coilover you will have to adjusters like a cog 2 sat on each other put one of ur tools on the bottom one and the other on the top one and then twist the will seperate them. Screw the cog nearest the sping upwards counting how many turns then screw the bottom cog up locking it place. DONE. Just remember to equally raise them all so an even set.

Cheers, do you twist the 'cogs' by hand once they are separated or is it hard to turn them because the spring is pushing down on them?

I take it I just jack the car up normally via the jacking points and remove the wheel one by one?

Also, and I know this is like asking how long a piece of string is but any ideas how many full turns I'm looking at so my car goes over speed bumps better? (my car is currently low enough to make the front splitter catch on some higher speed bumps)...

10 turns on each coilover?

You can try by hand if to stiff use use the tool mate and yeah one at a time wheel off pal normal lacking point. I normal mark the cog with tipex to count the turns and to be honest pal its hard to say just do it then try if not do more. But make sure u do at least the front 2 befor checking it as when you do one side look at it its one height time you do the other side the first side has changed. When i had my focus st took 4 attempts to have it exactly where i wanted it pal.
