i might just give it a clean, seems silly just to take it off and replace it without trying to sort the problem out. i know somebody with vag-com and a laptop that could maybe do the business for me with the standard set up and then with a cleaned ramair filter just to see if it is worth keeping or not. this sticky polymer stuff is it best to just give the filter a light coating because at the moment it feels overly sticky?

my mates got the dynatwist in his 210 LCR
from searching the posts it seems Ramair or Dynatwist are most peoples choice

im sure i read a post by Ruddmesiter that he had both and somr other one and he prefered the Dynatwist
