Hey everyone,

I got my new CUPRA Leon in March 2025 and have been having some random things happen, one or two since I got it and others about 6 months in.

It had its first service in March and nothing was found.

I'll list the things on here (hope you don't mind reading as there's quite a lot) and wondered if anyone else has had the same thing.

1. Most times I drive it I've noticed a high pitched noise from inside the car. It is on and off. If you've had a hearing test before, it's like one of the beeps that comes through when doing that.

2. A warning saying 'Error: drive system. Please visit workshop' - It's gone off as quick as it's come up. According to the manual, if this comes up you shouldn't drive the car.

3. A warning saying 'Driver outlet system is currently restricted. Front sensor impaired' - This seems to happen when it's dry or wet. I haven't noticed a pattern other than more often in the morning which made me think it's linked to moisture in the air. This used to come up on my Formentor.

4. I have recently noticed a noise when I reverse park, like a droning noise when the steering is on full lock. It's only at very slow speed and it doesn't last long.

5. I was driving with the heaters on and the speed the heaters emitting air out the vents started surging up and down for no reason.

6. The heat stopped coming out completely in the middle vents. It had been set to the highest level and was working ok on the other vents.

7. There have been a couple of times where the screen has gone black, it hasn't lasted long and has come back on.

8. I've had five stones caught in my brakes/discs. I've been driving for 26 years and have only ever had this happen one time before on one car. I know that the roads are in worse condition than before but it seems a bit strange and I always avoid driving through puddles and roads covered in debris as much as I can. Twice I've had to call SEAT Assist and twice the stones have come out. The first time it happened, I was given misleading information from SEAT Assist so had to get the garage to check them over. The only thing I've been told is that the Leon is lower to the ground than my Formentor, but I had it happen to my Formentor so work that out? Lol.
Could this be a manufacturing fault?

9. On numerous occasions, the electric windows have been playing up. Sometimes they don't go back up from about halfway and no matter how many times I try (mostly the drivers side) it comes back down after bringing it up. I have tried to do the reset on them and that doesn't work. Not long ago I left the car with all windows closed and locked the car. When I came back to the car shortly after, all the windows were open by about 5 inches completely symmetrical. Fortunately, it wasn't raining!

10. Once I went to drive the car away. Put it in drive and it wouldn't come out of first gear. I moved forward, noticing the revs going up and it not changing and then had to pull over. Once I turned it off and on again, it seemed to have reset itself and was ok.

11. I had a long drive at the weekend, maybe 3.5 hours. I was moving slowly and noticed a high pitched whistling sort of noise, it was happening between 2-10mph. I thought it was another stone but seemed to be coming from the engine bay. No warning lights and I haven't heard it since.

I can't seem to find a connection with all these things except something being wrong with the electrics but most of the time no faults show on the dash and so if the garage were to put it on diagnostics, nothing would show.

Has anyone had anything similar with theirs? It's making me lose confidence in the car which isn't great as I've only had it a year.
