at 2000 rpm i got a rattle from either under the car or nearest to driver side it happens when i start to put my foot down then it will go away till revs drop back to 2000 rpm. any one else got this problem i think it could be down pipe on the heat shild or may be the heat shild on rear engine mount near the bolt. but has any one else got this problem it really annoying me.

Possibly the shield under the cat i had it on mine, just removed it job done.

But as you said it could be one of the other heatshields, id say its more than likly one of them causing your rattle.

the one above the cat has some wires going to gear box with rubber on them and one of them has started to melt all ready or you on about the one attached to the cat

I removed the one attached to the cat. IMO i wouldnt remove the ones on the underside of the body.

I had this to. There was a metal clip holding backbox that was the wrong way round and kept rattling. Turned it round and it sorted it.
