Rattling when starting up

Wondering if anybody has the same problem or if anyone can help? Occasionally when i start my Leon there seems to be an annoying vibrating/rattling sound as the car starts up then as soon as the car is at rest it stops. The noise doesn't happen when acclerating though.

could it be heat shield??

Possibly, is it easy enough to tighten down?

Hi, I have the very same problem on my 2001 Cupra. seems worse only when starting from cold. Not sure what the problem is, however probably the heat shield sounds likely.

yup .. id go heat shield.. i get it on my old Mk2 Biza.. needs sorting.. ( another job on the list)..

I have always had this, seems to do it from a cold start, something to do with the exhaust/heatshield, had it pre modded exhaust and post modded exhaust?
