I might have some you can have . Taking in a write off in a couple of weeks once they pay out ! If you pay postage you can have them. They are black but have some scratches!

Iirc they just attach inside the arches with screws mate. Last set I fitted I cleaned up the sills then put a bit of silicone sealer as well and attached them in the arches!

started stripping my wheels but i think the holes between spokes have been powder coated as standard so i might get a furbing company to strip them properly

I've read this post gradually over the past few days and joined this forum as a result. I just wanted to say that whilst some of it isn't to my taste you have pulled everything off and let nothing put you off and its quite nice to see..

How are those wheels looking now, stripped any more off?

Thanks very much kind sir :) I'm glad its made you join, so welcome!

wheels wise I haven't done any more than that single wheels as of yet haha, eventually they will be going off to a refurbishing company to be stripped properly, I plan to drill and tap the rim bolts and replace them with real stainless steel bolts as the fake plastic ones are a nightmare to get hold of.

Very soon the camo roof will be getting remove, whether I change it to something is still to be seen haha

little bit of an update.

Today I was booked in for a chassis notch, drop the rest of the anti roll bar out and have the broken exhuast fitted ready for the MOT.

£369 later the driveshafts aren't knocking the chassis and there is no anti roll bar for me to fail an MOT for!

The exhuast was only meant to be a quick weld to fix it back together until i get my straight through next week BUT upon inspection there were 2 broken bits, snapped after the cat AND there was a hole in the flexi :( so unfortunately i had to fork out more than i was expecting for a new exhaust and the guy removed the cat for me. So its actually decatted and next weekend i'll be going to the exhaust place where they will remove the backbox :)

All in all although i spent a fair amount today i'm very happy with the car again :D

So its been an eventful day. Had the car booked in for an MOT in Basingstoke. Left the car with them in the morning and about an hour and a half later I get a call saying the car is too low to get into the test centre! They tried 2 different test centres and it wouldn't get in either! They couldn't raise it for me as both their ramps were taken up. So I ended up borrowing a jack and raised it myself!

After shitting myself for another hour I was actually looking into buying a polo after I thought the Leon would fail BUT I get the call saying its PASSED!! AND WITH NO ADVISORIES!!! So I'm rather happy now even if I am now at the standard ride height!

On the weekend I'm back up there to get the backbox removed and have an oval tip fitted at longlife :)
