Yeah I just saw. Not really aloud to stop us going in there are it is breaking the law to stop us. I'm in talks with the Sussex police to try and explain how they are breaking multiple laws by stopping us.

From g23 engineering mate. These are the biggest you can use without having the adjust the downpipe. Not fitted yet but seem like an ok job to do

What are they 25mm? Look about that, are they expensive? Was thinking of doing the hockey puck idea but I don't like the sound of that. Rather do it properly if it's not a fortune.

I thought that. Looks like il be getting some of them soon then. You've took your front arb off how's it handle now? I want lows but I still want to drive spirited on the open road and throw it into corners

On these coilovers I can honestly say I haven't felt the slightest difference feels hard as rock and I still throw mine about in the corners. Just gotta be able to read the road or know exactly where every pothole or raised bit is :)

Forgot to order my UD tickets, will be there though :D

What you planning for the wheels mate? Were they lacquered straight over the metal and did the synstrip take it off easy enough? I'm thinking of plastidipping mine for the time being.

Good man!

Yeah were clear coated and then painted over the top. Between spokes was powder coat. Gonna be mirror polishing them myself :) if you do plastidip them remember that isnt a permanent fix it does peel from chips and stuff

Ah cool, glad there's something out there that will strip them cause mine wouldn't budge using the "tried and tested" method of gasket remover and as you say nitromors isn't what it used to be.

Yeah I'm just looking to cover the white stains and peeling lacquer, will do me for UD and until after my holiday when I might look at a proper refurb or some different wheels :)

Yeah deffo go for synstrip then got mine off eBay theres only one seller I think. Burns like hell if it gets on your skin though so wear some nitriles or something. Once the old ones are back on I'll probably strip and spray the chs a bright silver.

Yeah I will be if you pass the centre on your left theres a massive car park on the left a little further down. Was 1 quid for the day, I made the mistake of paying with a 20 note... safe to say 19 pound coins are pretty heavy :p

well fitted the engine raisers today, what a PITA they were!! Took me and a mate at least 2hrs to do! also fitted a short shift another hour 1/2 or so cos the gearbox locking pin was broke but its such a nicer throw now! put it on the shortest setting and its how the leon should have come!

also fitted the gearbox spacer shim getting a lot less whining but im sure the bearings all round need doing
