Ah mate not sure on the fault that your getting tbh  Battery connections all ok? Hopefully it's nothing too bad and a simple enough fix.

Onto better things and the seats look really good mate. DK's and El's came up really well and yours have done the same. Look very at home in there! :D

Battery connections are spot on mate, checked both ends of each, hopefully it'll be a simple, cheap fix can't do with shelling loads out again. Cars doing itself no favours, trying to find some love for it again and it does this [:@]

Check the earth connections mate. Check where the earths bolt onto the body/gearbox. Also make sure the fuses on top of the battery are ok and don't have hairline cracks or anything

Alternator all plugged in??
Could be dead or not giving anything out so would be draining the battery all the time
Apart from that the earths as said above

After cleaning the interior and fitting the Recaro's last weekend, this weekend it was time to clean the exterior.

It's been soooooo loooooooong since it's had a decent wash, picture doesn't do the dirt justice:

deironizer and then bilberry on the wheels:

Snow foam:

Shampoo and conditioner:

Werkstat Prime and Acrylic Jett, vinyl and rubber care on the rubbers, fast glass on the windows and autosol on the exhaust and some tyre dress for good measure:

Forgot how shiney the wheels are :):

So took the car out for some more mileage, unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse before I got the camera out:

295 miles done since the build now

It seems to be running really well since the build. I'm considering taking it to Big Fish Tuning for a new map once it's ran in.

To be honest mate I don't know but it was nothing big because the garage sorted it FOC, once they said that I never asked, was just pleased not to have to pay more out.

John knows these engines, Im doing a few more things as I am not happy about boost dropping off as much as it does at 5200 rpm, mostly cooling fitting your FMIC and a power gasket, new actuator then going back to John to turn the wick up a bit more :p

I was considering a forge actuator to be honest. All I've heard is good things about Johns work and for the price VagCars members get maps for you can't grumble.

Exactly why I went to him, did you fit a power gasket to yours when you rebuilt it and are you going down to york when its arranged?

I've been reading this over the past couple of days.... WOW! I'm speechless! You have created a monster (a good one lol) if my car was half as good as this I'd be happy! Congrats on an epic RR

Car looks great rich. Love the Recaros and I know I gave you the idea about the hyper silver wheels, I'm doing mine the same colour in the future. They stand out so well on a silver car, imagine what they would do for a black car ;) keep up the good work
