Hi, yesterday i fitted a fmi to my lcr, after putting light back in I came to try and put the front bumper back on, with the help of a mate and about two hours of trying we gave up. Nothing is fouling but I can't get the bumper to slide into the rails behind the lights, they start to catch the rails but as sliding in but as get further on the pressure against the lights stops me from catching the final part, so they dont sit flush. Is there an easy way of doing this, did a search through loads of threads tho cant find the answere.

Cheers Tim

You can undo the 2 8mm nuts on the back of the guide and slide it onto bumper then put the whole lot on car and re-fit the nuts.

It will actually go on without it tho as I did mine last weekend with the guide bolted to the car....there the same guides......pretty tricky but it will go on.

Bumper

Ta for that, will give it a go tommorow, then I will try to tackle the jack point covers, there the toughest I've met yet[:@]:censored::cartman:

Take a small phillips screw driver and get in between the underside of the car and the sideskirts, then smack the cover with your hand.

With the phillips in, the sideskirt cant move and the cover will go on easier....

There is a nack mate, Do a side at a time get each groove lined up on the bumper and the wing, you need to push the bumper firmly from the side as you slid the clips in almost bending the bumper clip part around the headlight push inwards and backwards at the same time dont be afraid to be firm with it! Bloody headlights!!!!!!!!!!! would help if you could get to the bolts!!!!!!!
