Rear axle help

Took my car to the garage to get last few bits sorted after my bump and it needs a new rear axle. I dont fancy buying it new to been looking for a good breakers but cant seem to find what im looking for. Also its an 04 1.8t fr do i need the new rear axle to be from an fr or a cupra or will anyone do , thanks in advance.

just had a quick look on vagcat and looks like you can use any mk4 ibiza, skoda fabia or 9n polo

nice one mate got one coming tomorrow 80 quid plus 10 postage seems fairly ok.

considering they are around 400 new not bad. why do you need a new one?

car lost a fight with a barrier , back wheel hit it fairly hard.
