Another issue in hot weather the boot won't close nothing is stopping it it tries to lock then opens slightly ,is only happening in hot weather once the car cools it's ok

Expansion of components in this extreme heat.

Our twin large patio doors at home always expand in this level of heat, making them difficult to close.

I'd ask your service centre if they can adjust the height on the boot closing latch/bar.

I had it done on a VW for better panel fitment. It should help it close and lock on those hot days.
