Rear dash cam mounting

Hi All
Just wondering how anyone with a rear dash cam has mounted it? Im a little worried about damaging the heated rear window elements with a stick on or suction mount. Any advice or experience with this?

I have seen 3d printed brackets which mount on the headlining - also easier to hide the cable.
