Rear driver side door lock

Hi
Hopefully you can help. I have an issue with the rear drivers cool lock. It locks one the fob. When unlocking all the other lock open
Except this one. It will open from inside but not outside I changed the lock with a new one shame issue
Not sure what else it can be
Any ideas would be welcome
Ive had checked for any codes on ecu and it's clear
Its a 6pin connection year is 2011

Hi, I have the same issue with my Altea... drivers side rear. Maybe it is something to do with the child lock mechanism??... I need to fix my electric windows first though.

I have tried the child lock which then the door did not open at all
It was a pain to open then
But managed it in the end
So still no further along

Jeez... how did you get it open with the child lock on? Have you seen the other posts were people have managed to spray wd40 or silicone inside the lock? this has sorted the problem as there are 2 motors... 1 that locks and 1 that unlocks... apparently the contacts need cleaning occasionally but it so difficult to get to so some people have drilled a tiny hole to spray into the plastic housing.

I took off the door skin
Put my hand inside
At the bottom of the lock where the
Cable from the inside handle connects to the cable
I spent approx 25 mins moving through cable
Then it's opened
More fluke than luck I think
