Rear LCR brakes same as LC?

Hi, Im trying to order a set of rear brake discs and pads off of vwspares.co.uk. Now the rears are 256mm vented right? but what are the pads, the same as the rest of the range as indicated on the site or should they be different considering the disc diametre is larger?

I was going to be cheap and buy the febi dot4 plus fluid which is £5 a litre as ive been unable to get Castrol dot4 plus on trade at halfords recently so should i give this stuff a go? (car is generally not given a hard time and never tracked)

£76 for the lot does sound a bargain at the moment as ive easily been quoted double that for O.E. Kit

brakesint.com comes up with same part number for both.

cupra r rears different to cupra

lcr are 256mm and cupra 232mm, lcr are vented rears and lc are solid rears

different size calipers aswell.

i would say pads would be different aswell


vagcat lists pn for lcr rear pads as 1J0698451C

lc rear pads for 232x9mm discs as 1J0615601

Sorry I meant pads were same PN, discs different sizes.

pads arent the same part numbers.. part numbers above are oem numbers for lc and lcr

i did email vwspares but they didnt answer yes/no to the question on pads. they also have the same listing for the Octavia VRS so might be worth giving them a call tomorrow as i really need to order to get it in for the bank holiday.

update - checking the tt listing and the bosch pads do correspond to the number james listed above so im not sure what to think but will order tomorrow. Strange they list different things for the tt, leon and octavia when they all share the same rears - confused.com :S
