Does the arosa have a contact block where the rear hatch closes and makes a circuit for the wiper and lights? if so, check the rear wiper works (I assume the arosa has a wiper)

What all of the rear lights no longer work?

brake light switches can be a problem but ive not heard of anything about all the lights failing.

Yeah arosa has a rear wiper :)

Obvious one is to check that the bulbs are all ok and then check the fuses. If you look through the owners manual to find the fuse diagram it will tell you which fuses to check. Other than that take the light clusters off and ensure that the connectors are ok not got any water or anything in them.
