I was wondering if any of you guys who are running rear spacers have noticed any effects they might have on handling?

I want to add 15mm thick spacers just on the rear, but I'm worried that the car may not handle good anymore.

ive just fitted 15mm spacers and now the car hadles better, theres much more grip and stability from the rear. im running 17s with a 20mm drop and only getting rubbing with people in the back over speed humps. definetly a worthwhile mod.

Thanks, guys. I'm running standard suspension and standard rims.

So this is definitely the next mod to do.

with standard rims i was dropped 60mm with 15mm rear spacers with no issues AT ALL, only when i changed my wheels i started getting issues rubbing

There's a small mini roundabout that i can now take at much greater speed due to the spacers.

Previously the back end felt a bit nervous, now its not going anywhere.

spacers help a lot.
you heard it from badger5 first :)

nice cheap mod for big improvement in rear stability.

as std the ibiza is 35mm narrower rear than front. squaring it up makes the rear end feel much more planted and stable.

wwell i know this aint too much to do with the saem model car but i have a mk4 1.2 ibiza and thinking of getting 6 mm rear spacers and im running 17 inch alloys on it will this be good? i suppose it will make the handling not much different? would 6 mm make much of a difference as im only putting them on the back?

chris

so not much point in doing it then? just the alloys i have seem to sit in the arches quite a way and thought 6mm spacers on back would brring them out nicely

i have a ibiza cupra with standard rims and 40mm lowering springs, what size rear spacers do u think i should get buy bear in mind i will be geting 16" oz superleggera..... does bill sell them? if so how much?
