Hi there,I am having seat Leon 2018 right now.The dashboard indicates to check the left rear tail light.
I had seen all the bulbs, left right and high level brake light as well. There is no problem on the bulbs.Replaced the bulb with same wattage.but still showing in the dashboard as a warning.

Wiped with cloth, there was no water ingress .still showing the same thing.Asked garages they said no problem at all. Then why should it shows?
Anybody knows the problem.

Did that garage who said no problem check the ground wire on that taillight ?

Where should be check in the car?

First you need to know which pin on the taillight connector is the ground wire on a '18 Leon, so some research on that will be required. Then you need to pull the connector off the taillight and measure the voltage on ground wire with a multimeter, while the lights are turned on. That's another research on "how to check a ground wire on a car".
This reading should tell you whether you have a good ground connection or a bad one (corroded, loose etc)
