Oh great knowers of all that is Seat! My rear washer stopped working the other day. The motor is still working and I can hear water squirting into the tail gate. My question is, how the hell do you get the rear trim off to get a look at the pipe feeding it? I have had a search and found some instructions on how to remove the trim on an Ibiza but not a Leon.

Cheers

Sam

Try not to use it till you've sorted it, the water drips onto the rear boot lock and knackers that as well...

I echo the above, but to get the trim off there's two screws in the grab handles, then once these are out you just pull like buggery. You'll be sure that it's not coming off, but it will.

There's a high chance of breaking off some of the clip osts on the back, so if you can get the dealer to do it...

Sadly it is not! I am loathed to take it to a dealer as it will no doubt just be a loose pipe.

Sometimes the tube/pipe inside the rear washer motor corrodes and snaps - if your rear washer jet started to turn with the rear wiper; it might be that.

There is a guide to fixing this somewhere (uk-mkivs.net I think - google it)

Yeah it will be a lose pipe, common fault, similar thing happened on my 05 FR but the pipe seperated behind the left hand boot trim.

From what I know there are a few torx screws that need to be removed and then there are some clips that come undone when you pull hard enough. As I said before its easy to crack the plastic so go carefully
