Rear Wiper Blade (standard not Fabia) - Where?

Anyone know where I can get a replacement standard rear wiper blade apart from a dealer?

Tried Halfords - according to their little guides the Leon Mk1 has no rear wiper (news to me!) and the assistant I asked was a muppet
Checked a few websites (inc wiperblades.co.uk) and no rear listed



I'm miles from a dealer. (although I am nearer a VW Audi dealer if they would have one)

any ideas guys??

Yeah, sadly you can only fit a VAG wiper. Seems to be the way they're going nowadays.

Any VAG dealer should be able to get you the part (if you know the part no) or a local garage if you give them your reg.

Infact, you can get the part number from SEAT on the phone...

I also couldn't find a Fabia one!! Any clues?

Both Leon Mk1 and Fabia Mk1 rear wiper blades are only available from the dealers as far as I know.

The standard rear Leon wiper looks like a normal blade but in fact needs to be the specific Seat one to fit the arm.

Fabia wiper works better and there are more dealers about. Search for help on converting.

Had to go to the dealer. £6.20

I used a 16" spoiler blade from Lidl. About £3.99 if memory serves. The spoiler serves to stiffen the blade so it stays in contact with the windscreen. Works a treat. Non-spoiler blades don't work at all unless you get the dealer part.

The Fabia one does look nice though. Might look into that...
