Considering lowering and remapping my 2.0 TDI FR.

Are there any recommended setups or places to buy from?
How much of a difference is there performance wise from either?
Someone with a remapped one, is it true they go to 200+? How much of an increase does this make?

Also planning on getting the 312mm brake upgrades.

Cheers

Eibach pro's for springs, map wise your looking around 185/190 and if you do the 312mm upgrade would be a good shout.

I would think 170 - 180 would be more likely, but even this would make a good difference. I have H and R springs on mine, 25/40 and am really happy with the drop and handling.

185 is aload of crap aswell it's more like 170 your playing with a common rail engine not a pd so don't expect big gains for little work and money

I got a 2.0 fr and mines mapped to 204 bhp
From Will at p torque

I had the eibachs on my fr but the h rs on my cupra. Tbh you would barely know you had it lowered at all. The 40 mm at the back still gives an even level because the back is slightly higher anyway.

Ive seen plenty make near 190 so.........

Eibachs for comfort, H&R for stance.

Actually i think darksides graph has over 180 or so on a completely stock car, it depends on the dyno and who maps it.

Yh completely standard!! 309.6 lb/ft!
I wud upload a pic of the graph but i dnt fink i can yet lol!

My dad has a 170 exeo which has been mapped to just under 210, 208 to be exact. It's a 2.0 cr diesel as well, yet has a bigger turbo to that on the 140 or the 115 version.

No way is that figure from a standard remap, mine was around 175-180 depending on the dyno. DPF delete will get you a bit higher, but no way will you get over 60 bhp from a stage 1 map.

Well i left it to Will and thats wot he came back with.
As iv sed i would post a pic of the graph but i cant yet.
