Best way to do it???

Rub all down and repaint ane apply new brembo logo???

Any other methods, equi[ment or tips???

Thanks Guys

I would remove all and send away for painting, but thats just me. If I were to DIY it, I would rub down as best I could on the car and then paint, then either get Brembo stickers or make up a Brembo template and paint on, then laquer a few times.

I have been thinking about getting mine done but instead of Brembo have the 'R' logo and checker flag on the caliper....not sure if it would look good or not.

Quick fix way

Remove wheel
Degrease calliper and remove dust
Remove all flakey lacquer
Mask surrounding areas
Spray first coat of lacquer
Build up sevreal coats as instructions.

You'll be surprised that the patches of missing lacquer dissapear and it all blends into one. The end result is surprinigly good for a quick fix

Up to you

Some of the red has come off too tho so need to be painted.

I will have a go myself and if no good I'll send to BREMBO.
*Remove or not????
*Get rid of all grease and sh*t
*Rub down with wet n dry then sand paper to bear metal
*Use Hammerite/FoliaTec caliper metel paint (spray or brush tho????)
*Laquer(sp) a few times til desired finish acheived
*I have ordered VINYL brembo logo's to then re-apply.

Think the R + flag logo would be good but BREMBO would still look better IMO

I used a hellfrauds lacquer pen to touch up the flacking lacquer and it has turned out far better than I expected. I only really did to stop anymore coming off but it really has made them like new.
At the same time I used hammertite smooth red on the rears and although it’s a bit lumpy it looks ok, the only main other thing is the red hammerite is a bit orange in comparison to the brembos, but there is apparently brembo red paint out there for old calipers
