why cant someone make this a sticky ? seems good info if you have brembos or want to refurb other calipers ,

Yeah, be careful when chipping off the old flaky lacquer with a flat screwdriver, especially around the lettering and be careful not to scratch the paintwork too deeply. Small scratches are OK as they are masked over when you do the damp 1200 wet & dry sanding, and almost completely disappears when the lacquering is done.
Those brakes above are just the kind of condition that give the most reward for the work done. Similar nick to the ones I did for Boomhauer.

I'd get out there with a ruler to be honest.

see them on ebay all the time , note sure whether sumones just making them up or whether they are the right size ?
they come in different sizes, but be warned, my white stickers turned orange after a trackday when things got fairly toasty!
I measured before was 70mm x 20mm ive desided to refurb it all with new decals and paint as some of the powdercoat has come off..
my halfords vht spray turned brown with heat.. I used foliatec brush on stuff the last time i refurbed and this has lasted much better!
Had my Brembos stripped and repainted in a hardened semi-gloss paint so there's no lacquer any more.

It's not the same colour (on purpose) and they look amazing in the flesh.
Bought some 90mm decals off of eBay and messed up applying the 'R' on one (too cold!) so I'm waiting before I fix it and apply the other one:
If anyone in the Nottingham area wants theirs done, I can highly recommend a guy

Varies, depending on what needs doing. Mine had a full service and repaint. The bridge pipe on one broke and some other pipe. The pipes were replaced for all of £25, which was a bargain, but it added extra. IIRC the brake service is £70 and the repaint was £30, but the best bet is to PM el dude and ask directly. The guy has years of experience with Alcons on Fords and mine were his first venture in to Brembos and Seats, so we had some teething problems, but now he knows the quirks of these brakes it should be a smooth operation.
Oh, I meant to add; he replaced my pads for me while they were there too
If you get the Brembo decals of choice beforehand then he'd put them on for you too. I got mine afterward, hence why I'm applying them myself
