That's my personal opinion mate and i'm entitled to it.
Revo have branched out to Ford maps yes, but they offer software for 3 different models covering 4 engines according to their website, not every petrol & diesel engine variation, for every model, from every manufacturer under the sun. How much R&D actually goes in to each of those maps compared to the likes of APR, REVO etc. or those that properly custom map a car, such as R-Tech, Badger 5, Unicorn, Stealth etc etc.?
None - a quick 10% here, 20% there, take their money and send them on their way. Plenty of those outfits around my way, no end of problems that they try to keep quiet and away from the internet.
They'd be better off buying maps from a decent file supplier (tried and tested maps following R&D & proper mapping) but they don't - more money to be had by 'writing a custom bespoke (b0ll0x) map themselves'
And i'm not talking about those people who can actually properly write a map and understand what they are doing, i refer to those outfits that spend a few thousand on tools and some software, and suddenly they are engine remapping/tuning specialists
