yeah I chose to ignore that comment from him, perhaps ask the admins to delete the comment as it has no relevance to this thread at all as a few people are picking up on it now:blink::confused::ban:

It run 236 bhp at the wheels, 301 ft/lb and 250 at the fly

Trust me, do a google search on FWD losses. There are thousands and thousands of articles on the subject.
Is dynojet correct and the whole of the internet incorrect? Or perhaps the other way about? I'll let you come to your own conclusions:)

The thing is, the car does produce 222bhp as standard and on the dynonojet i have seen stage 1 mapped cars only producing 238-240bhp @ flywheel. Now im sure we all know how much of a difference remapping does to a turbo car and the difference felt by the arse dyno. Its a lot more than the 16-18bhp that the above suggests! K03 turbo gets a good 30-40bhp increase, why not the larger K04?

Powelly, dont be dissapointed. 236whp is a good healthy figure.

Simple calculation based on 236whp (277bhp x0.85 =236whp)

277bhp is a nice healthy figure for a stage 2 mapped car and doesn't seem anything out of the ordinary.

Awesome guys...This is not a dig at the dyno, just my opinion seeing as ive used it quite a handful of times! I am in the mindset that it gives good whp and torque figures, just rubbish bhp flywheel figures!

Take it round to JBS for a 'proper' fly figure and to back this 277 (ish) up. You'll still get the 236whp and same torque figures, you'll just have a more believable transmission loss figure (google fwd loss)

What you pushing now on the car Mitchy? I think you should make some sort of run down thread for your car :)

Not sure mate, my highest result so far is at awesome with 284whp/414lbft

284whp in my language is about 325-330bhp @ fly, and since then ive had hybrid turbo/FMIC/Exhaust and stage 2 map so who knows now! A good 350-360 easy.

Nice mate...As I said you should do some sort of thread on your car. Interested to see all the mods and figures etc..Nice to see more LCRs breaking the 300bhp barrier.

Mitch:)

I'm a little confused... I had my LCR on Awesome's rollers in March last year, was only 5 months old with about 6k miles & completely standard at the time.

My figures were 209.27whp, 216.36lb/ft and clutch power was 224.88 (3rd of 3 runs, graphs & video are on Awesome's website)

So, do I take the 209.27whp and divide by 0.85 to give 245.88bhp (245.88bhp x 0.85 = 209whp) which is way over the top for a standard LCR, or is it the clutch power that is correct, in which case it would be 224.88 x 0.85 which is 191.15whp? This seems a more realistic figure to me for a standard LCR...

Just wondering how you used the whp figure in the calculation to arrive at a bigger (more realistic figure for stage 2) bhp figure, yet it doesn't seem to work the same for a standard car?

I don't want to get into a massive debate over it, I just really don't have a clue and I'm curious :)
