Go for it! Makes a major difference, but the downside is that you get used to all power :)

I went for a "stage 1+" on my Cupra 280 and absolutely love it, even though it wasn't really necessary to be honest

hi mate, im thinking the same, my 300 is definatly quick enough for a old boy like me ( im 61) i had a diesal fr and had that
mapped and it transformed the car, 467 nm torque, AMD in essex done it, ill give it some thought.
thanks again, happy motoring.

You can get a JB4 tuning box pretty cheap now.
Try one to see if the extra power works for you.
If yes - have the car mapped and sell on the JB4

I am older than you, and remember the days driving down the A127 to zero six disco (don't call them that anymore) in a souped up MK2 Cortina.

Now I drive a souped up MK3 Leon so your are never to old to have a bit of fun and have to say you can still get 40mpg on a long haul or 12mpg on the track.
