Remote key fob

my cupra is a 04 plate and the distance is getting slightly shorter and a couple of extra presses on the key, so guessing i need a new battery, were would the best place be to get one and wich one, also how does the key come apart, seems a pain

You can get the batteries from anywhere, I got mine from B&Q but they're in supermarkets as well. There is a guide written by FL@pper in the reviews and features section that shows how to get the batteries out, but it looks like that still needs to be restored.
