removal of internal alarm sensor... how?

does anyone know how to remove the internal sensors for the alarm on a mk3 cupra? its the plastic housing in the roof lining just behind the passenger seat?

my alarm keeps going off and i want to see if unpluggin the sensor makes it stop

just dont wanna break anything trying to remove it

any help would be much appreciated

Press the button behind the drivers side seat to turn them off.

yeh, did that and the alarm still went off... checked all windows doors and bonnet too

wanna see if unplugging the actual sensor stops it

I'd say if you turned them off and it didnt stop it, then its not an internal sensor issue.

strangely enough it hasnt gone off today?!?

Try bonnet switch check the multi-plug as i've found problems where they fill up with water and make the alarm go off. I checked mine and it was starting to go green with corrosion, i cleaned it and filled the connector with silicon grease never had a problem since.

Try changing the sensitivity of it on vag com.
