Removal of the rear Seat badge?

Hi guys & gals, does anyone know how to remove the rear seat S badge from the car as I want to take it of to spray matt black!
I've had a quick look this morning but cant figure out of to take the whole S badge/boot opener of

just masked mine up,gave it a quick flat down,pannel wiped it then painted it with a few coats
of matt black.2 years later still looks great.
