remove air vents

im going to fit a boost gauge in my right hand side air vent, before i do it just want an idea how to remove the vent before i brake anything,

Large flat blade screwdriver carefully between the dashboard and the lip of the vent. Pry it out at the top then at the bottom, then pull.

Its that simple.

oh, ok so no fixings, i did a search and found 1 post saying just pull it, but wanted to make sure that was right.

Nope, nothing holding it in at all.
