Remove engine cover on 110 DIesel

there are 3 covers over 10mm nuts. remove the nut covers, unscrew the nuts and pull out the dipstick, remove the vacuum pipe beside the egr valve and lift the cover up.

Nope. I have thought about the same thing myself, but then that not sure its worth the hassle!!

I have never had to remove any pipes when taking my cover off?

to smooth it off maybe use poly filler??i certainly aint a car fixy person lol but for my engine cover to be painted blqck i need to smooth mine out lol

it is totally fine to drive it without the engine cover, imo i think its just there to make the engine look clean and not messy lol

yeah I didnt have one when I first got mine and it was fine. In theory it probably makes it slightly quieter etc but there's nothing wrong with driving without it

ok just making sure nothings gonna melt away and blow up in flames. Now i need to get the bloody bumper back on once the paint has dried. Although i think i did a woopsie daisy and the paints reacted with the laquer.
