Remove rev limiter

hi,
I have a 2019 cupra 290, is there a way to remove the rev limiter when in park?

No, this feature is across the VW Range I am afraid.

I am sure if you have professional ECU Tuning tools you could but not the sort of thing you can do with normal VCDS type Tools as far as I am aware.

so you can rev engine above 4k when stationary? if so try turning off traction control works for my manual in neutral.

i will give that a try on the DSG Box, but I have to say I go to lots of track meets where you have to do sound checks and they all accept you cant go above 4k

I tried disabling the traction control, well as much as the Cupra lets you, and no can’t rev above 4k

I just did that test myself, my 2014 DSG and I tried with traction control on and off in both Park and Neuteral and in both cases cant go over the 4K.

maybe my mistake but in manual you can rev over 4k with traction control off in neutral but clutch needs to be depressed, only goes to 3.8k with traction control on.

Don't think its a mistake its just another feature where there is a difference between different models (in this case DSG Vs Manual)

Turning esp off should give you more revs at idle, it’s the same with all VAG cars
