removing aircon

hi i want 2 remove my air con system from my ibiza gti 16v 1998 dose any 1 no if its easy and when i get a new altinator belt would i get the 1 for the no air con or would i just have to look around till i get 1 the right size

Why do you want to remove it? its uses no power when its off and its a rareity on later cars.

yeah keep it, unless you stripping you car out to save weight, but if nto keep it it will be worth more if you come to sell the car.

its guna cost over £200 to get it workin again and i have only ever used it 3 or 4 times


to remove it is it just 2 bolts holding it on?

you know it's 'really naughty' to let the gas out into atmosphere? as in illegal. unless it's already leaked away.

the radiator cracks when a stone hit it and 1 of the pipe has cracked as well
