I have a 3" cobra turbo back non res with decat on at the moment and was wondering whether removing the back box and just having a straight through 3" pipe to the tailpipe would make any difference performance wise? I know I would lose back pressure but surely after a remap it would be better due to no restriction/better air flow?
Also what would would it sound like, would it be much louder than my system at the moment?

Cheers in advance

It would be way too loud, nobody would thank you for it lol, you could have a custom box made, I had one on my scoob with adjustable silencer in it, closed it was a nice rumble fully open it was like I had a jet engine following me

Ah ok, I might try it out but have my current back box at the ready if it's really unpleasant.

Will it effect performance at all for good or bad and before or after a remap?

Cheers for the replies
