Removing exterior chrome grille trim

Hi, I just bought a mk4 ibiza FR 1.8t, which I love and I'm new to forums etc. it appears that the previous owner put a chrome grille trim on it (seen it online for £20) and I'm not a huge fan. Just wondering how to go about removing it? Is it best to heat it with a hair dryer to try and avoid sticky marks?

What grille trim are you referring to..? The main S grille or the smaller ones to the side of it?

Smaller on either side. Looks like chrome edging.
