Removing number plate bulb holder?

Hi Everyone, I was trying to fix one of the number plate lights on my car today (the bulbs not blown but it wont light so presumably theres a bad connection somewhere). Was just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me how this comes out of the bumper? (Not the clear plastic cover but the actual bulb holder part)

It's a complete pain in posterior! To get the whole lense housing out you'll need a flat head screwdriver and put it between bumper and housing and slide it out.

Similar for clear lense, place screwdriver between release clip and housing and slide out.

Hi Jordan, anywhere in particular it needs to go (im guessing near the clips at the number plate side (i.e. the back of the housing). I also see very small holes at the front (away from the car bodywork), are these used for anything?

Best thing to do is to lie on your back and look up at it, you'll see the slot to slide your screw driver in
