Removing steering wheel

Hey.

Currently attempting to fit CC to my car but need to know what size tool I require to remove the steering wheel nut.

Looks like a large torx tool but need specifics or any other tips how to remove without the tool. Centre punch won't work.

Can't believe there is nothing on the internet on this!

M12 multispline also known as a triple-square. Use the correct tool otherwise it'll knacker the nut.

Do you have the part number for the stalk assembly? Looking to do this myself very soon. Also, where did you get the wiring harness from?

I got mine from here, it took around 3 weeks to come though as it comes from Germany! and they provide everything (apart from instructions )

That's the one if you have the multi function display showing you MPG, average speed etc. There is another one without the controls too for the same price.

I have the display for mpg etc yes. I'd appreciate it if you could take the part number from it so I can try to get one from a breaker first - I can't wait 3 weeks

Three weeks? It's 3-4 days lol

I bought the same kit, I still think I have the box with the VW Part No on it, I'll take a look if dann2707 can't get it.
