removing the glue after stripping the tar sounddeading off?

started the task of stripping the tar sounddeading from inside the car last night got all the rear done, just the front to go

people who have done it what solvents have you used to get all the glue and remains off the bodywork after?

If you use a heat gun most of it comes off anyway, I used either brake cleaner or petrol when I did mine! Used an angle grinder with a wire brush fitment on to get rid of some of the panel sealant, that's messy but fun!!

heatgun worked for me

heatgun and then wipe th glue with petrol working a treat taken over 13lbs of sounddeading alone out so far and still the front wells to do and behind the dash
