Had a conversation at the weekend with a mate with a modded CTR. He seems to think that if I upgrade my air filter (getting a green panel replacement) that I'd have to adjust the ECU to cope with the extra air coming into the engine. I said I thought it would adapt to the new air filter on it's own.

Never heard of anyone having to make adjustments - I'm just running standard ECU btw. Any input gratefully received - tried the searchy thing without any joy.

it will adapt itself dont worry you may need to reset it but even if you dont it will eventually learn itself

Nope you dont need to do anything with a panel filter. Tell your mate, he's talking a lot of bollocks
