Hi Guys, been experiencing various systems unavailable bonging on and off under various conditions. The car will be having a service in January and I'd like to quote the TPI number for them to look favourably at my request for a new steering wheel.
What is the actual number to quote them please?

Also how long is the warranty on a 22 plate Formentor?

Car serviced and a new steering wheel has been ordered under warranty.
Anyone who's had this done, did it fix the problem on the sos/travel assist errors?

So far I've had a software update, then the front camera replaced, neither have cured the sos, and travel assist warnings. What pray tell is this tpi number?
Cars going in again on Tuesday so this bit of knowledge might help.

I'm not sure if the tpi number is correct or not.. I simply told the service dept about the constant bonging of the sos/travel assist unavailable and that I've read that the steering wheel needs replacing. The person on the service desk said yes it is possible so I never needed to quote the tpi number.

Im having the same issues as you Andy. Steering wheel already replaced last month. It was OK for 3 weeks and the errors have come back. Cars warranty expired in Nov 2024, luckly i bought the extended warranty with Cupra as a new steering wheel cost £1085 (quoted by VW).
Now I refuse to drive the car until its fixed and Cupra has issued me with a hire car. They say its the control module for the buttons that needs replacing and the part is on back order.

The extended warranty cost £420 ish with no excess to pay. But as i reported to Cupra about the fault codes, error messages when the car was 2 years old, they have taken so long to find the fault and numerous visits to the garage it went over the 3 year mark. so i got Cupra to pay 50% of the warranty costs.

Please note that the extended warranty does not cover software ('over the air update')
