Replacing a V5 flywheel/clutch

Has anyone had a flywheel and/or clutch replaced on a V5? How much does it cost, or how much work is involved? Is it an engine out job?

I'm just wondering what sort of effort/expense is required because I'm tempted to pick up a V5 on Ebay that needs a flywheel changing.

It's not engine out. I don't know about the effort because mine was done for me. Parts and labour were £500.

That doesn't sound too bad, because the flywheel itself costs £300...

Or do you mean you got your clutch done for £500?

Nope. I have the receipt. Dual mass flywheel and clutch. They said they hardly made any money on the job as it went in for just the clutch and then realised the flywheel needed changing and supposedly took pity at my gasp at the extra expense. You never know though. No one works for nothing.
