replacing chrome grille with 08 cupra one?

I seen a whilr ago a thread explaining how to change the grille but im having no joy finding it and ive searched for about an hour.

Can anyone tell me how to do it or find the post on how to as its coming soon and i want to get it fitted as soon as possible!

Its very ackward, with long finger clips at 8:20 if using the 24hr clock, I ended up taking the GRP front off [ had a collision with a dear or two!!] and even then it was difficult you may well end up breaking the these fragile locatng fingers too. also try seat 2 passion web site and translate using bablefish - it is a very good site for info and pics

I tried but i couldn find it no matter what i typed!

It doesn matter anyway I tried it myself and it took 10 mins. I just used 2 screwdrivers to lever the pins out then pushed and pulled and it practically came out in 1 go but theleft side was a nightmare to undo.

The end result is very good though glad that nasty chrome is gone!
