Anything to watch for when changing out these valves? I have the new OEM spring recirc valve and a complete PCV assembly with gasket as I was seeing a flat spot at approx 5200rpm prior to taking some of the uprated parts off my car. I now understand this flat spot has been seen on several cars and can be attributable to the PCV blocking, causing the oil cap seal to have issues, and possibly the diaphragm on the original OEM recirc valve having issues.

Pretty easy regarding the PCV, take old one off, put new one on.

Never done the DV on the cupra...

There is a PCV upgrade kit coming in the market from BSH (should be available noe) which I am definitely considering buying it. You should check it djhorace.

The only negative is when reading this line in the description:

To avoid allowing the scent of PCV gasses from entering the cabin you will want to use the recirc feature on your air conditioning.

Unfortunately those Kits were not made for Euro spec cars, we @ Performance Chiptuning SA have recently jigged new brackets for this and sent it to Phil @ BSH...So hold on for a touch before buying the catch can upgrade, BUT you can buy the stg1 PCV fix---works like a dream...

These 2 things took 10 minutes to change out altogether including the gasket for the PCV. Very straight forward job. Interestingly the spring loaded "D" spec OEM recirc seemed to be harder to depress than the C" spec item.
