Hi

I am new to the forum and am looking for some help with a problem with my 2004 Leon Cupra. The fault warning light came on a couple of weeks ago and I bought a VAG COM fault reader, with a view to fixing it myself. However, having got a reading from the fault reader I am not quite sure what to do. The fault reader shows the faults as 17511 and 17524, which are:

P1103 O2 Sensor Heating Circ.,Bank1-Sensor1 Output too Low and,
P1116 O2 Sensor Heater Circ.,Bank1-Sensor1 Open, respectively.

Can anyone tell me what I have to do to fix this problem? Can I do it myself or is it one for the dealer?

Any help much appreciated.

And thats the first Lamda sensor before the cat nearest front of car.

Its screwed into the exhaust and the wres run under the little black box thats located on the drivers side.

If you have basic tools and acess to a ramp....or can get it up in the air then you could try and do it yourself.

17511/P1103/004355 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating; B1 S1: Performance too Low

Possible Solutions

Check Oxygen Sensor Heating for Oxygen Sensor before Catalytic Converter
