Did the bodyshop give you any indication as to how long to leave the car before washing?
Normally i think they recommend a few days on modern paints for it to harden properly.
Really all you need to do is give the car a good wash and then apply some sort of protection in the form of a wax or sealant.
The white dust you mention... is this in the panel gaps or on the car? i wouldnt have expected any from a decent body shop, its polish dust from mopping the car over after the respray. It should just wash off.
If it doesnt your going to have to clay the car with a mild clay and plenty of clay lube.

He did say something 
( was half asleep), not to get it washed and to be carefull with paint. He did wash it and waxed it. The car goin back in 2weeks for some sort of polish, G1 poslish (think thats wat is called). Did a good job 
Theres only abit white dust on the wheels and some in the engine bay, but none on the exterior panels.

dust in the engine bay and wheels is to be expected i suppose but it is just polish dust which will wash off easily enough.
I have an old bottle of Farcela G10 which is slightly stronger than T-Cut... the Facela compounds get stronger the lowe the number so a polish with G1 would be pretty extreme.
Personally, i'd ask him if its really necessary to go that abbrasive with the polishing, unless the finish on the paint needs that sort of treatment ?
