respray progress

right as some of you know my cupra is in the bodyshop for a bit of a make over. thought id post up a few pics of it gettin sorted..
started off with bumper etc off

then windows out, door handles off, mirrrs etc

then interior out and start sanding down like a bitch!

then sent door cards to get trimmed (mark) and took seats to the valeters at my work to get steam cleaned.... not that there was any mysterious marks on them!! haha

cars more rubbed down now and shud be in primer this weekend! just aint got any pics from today! will keep you all posted on how its comin on

yer going for white mate with black detailing.... erm i think jabba just modify the standard tip yes and as for n249 i dont no!!

i have no idea mate! case may be they do use a standard one! jabba are the people to ask on that one!!

well after a bit more rubbing down

it was time to get it in primer

all bumpers etc are also primed ready to flat down!!

im only paying 600 quid mate!! as my brother inlaw has prepped it all as he used to work in that same bodyshop! so just then gettin them to prime, paint and laquer! i was contemplating getting some airbrushing done on the tailgate?? just saying cupra or IHI somethin simple rather than having a badge on there?? opinions please?

and bumpers etc were already smoothed from the first respray i had done mate! so only few little things gettin done. like wheels anthrasite, n few bits here and there to make it look bit better

for a good job these days your looking at the £1500-2000 depending on damage/repairs and colour

yer if you dont no anyone and give them the car and say spray that for me!! ul be lookin aound 1500-2000 as stated id say.. ok il leave airbrushing then that solved that one!! il keep pics updated as and wen i get some
